Listening Quest #11: Ludovico Einaudi

I've been listening to a lot of LudovicoEinaudi (Loo-doh-VEE-kohine-OW-dee) lately. It seems strange to say that I've recently "discovered" him when his album Divenire is on the list of top classical albums in iTunes. His music is not strictly classical, but a combination of pop and classical with a lot of minimalism. Minimalism is taking a small musical idea and repeating it - a lot, without a lot of variation. Ludovico's music does have a tendency to all sound kind of the same, but he does it well, and has made for award-winning soundtracks.
